| 102 우리가 삶의 고통을 받아들임으로써, 다시 말해 ‘우리의 십자가를 짐으로써’ 예수님을 따라야 하는 이유는 무엇인가요?
그리스도교 신자들이 고통을 추구해서는 안 되지만, 피할 수 없는 고통과 마주치는 경우 그것을 그리스도가 겪으셨던 고통과 일치시킴으로써 고통의 의미를 깨달을 수 있습니다. “그리스도께서도 여러분을 위하여 고난을 겪으시면서, 당신의 발자취를 따르라고 여러분에게 본보기를 남겨 주셨습니다.”(베드 2,21) 618 예수님은 “누구든지 내 뒤를 따르려면 자신을 버리고 제 십자가를 지고 나를 따라야 한다.”(마르 8,34)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리스도교 신자들은 세상의 고통을 줄여야 할 사명을 갖고 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 고통은 계속 존재할 것입니다. 우리는 신앙을 통해 자신의 고통을 받아들이고 다른 이들의 고통을 나눌 수 있습니다. 이러한 방식으로 인간의 고통은 구원자 그리스도의 사랑과 하나가 되고, 그로써 세상을 더 좋게 변화시키는 신적인 능력의 일부가 됩니다. 102 Why are we too supposed to accept suffering in our lives and thus “take up our cross” and there by follow Jesus? Christians should not seek suffering, but when they are confronted with unavoidable suffering, it can become meaningful for them if they unite their sufferings with the sufferings of Christ: “Christ . . . suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps” (1 Pet 2:21). 618 Jesus said, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Mk 8:34). Christians have the task of alleviating suffering in the world. Nevertheless, there will still be suffering. In faith we can accept our own suffering and share the suffering of others. In this way human suffering becomes united with the redeeming love of Christ and thus part of the divine power that changes the world for the better. 103 예수님은 실제로 돌아가셨나요, 아니면 그저 돌아가셨던 것처럼 보였기 때문에 부활하실 수 있었던 건가요? 예수 그리스도는 실제로 십자가 위에서 돌아가셨고, 그분의 시신은 매장되었습니다. 성경의 모든 원전들이 이 사실을 증언합니다. 627 요한 복음서에는 병사들이 예수님의 죽음을 분명하게 확인한 내용이 있습니다. 그들은 돌아가신 예수님의 옆구리를 창으로 찔렀고 거기에서 피와 물이 흘러나오는 것을 보았습니다. 그 밖에 예수님과 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 사람들의 다리를 부러뜨렸다고 했는데, 이는 죽음을 재촉하기 위한 조치였습니다. 하지만 그 시점에 예수님은 이미 돌아가신 상태였기 때문에 예수님에게는 그렇게 하지 않았습니다. 103 Was Jesus really dead? Maybe he was able to rise again because he only appeared to have suffered death. Jesus really died on the Cross his body was buried. All the sources testify to this. 627 In John 19:33ff., the soldiers even make an explicit determination of death: They open the side of Jesus’ dead body with a lance and see blood and water come out. Furthermore, it says that the legs of the men crucified with him were broken?a step that hastened the dying process this was not required in Jesus’ case since his death had already occurred. |
