| 149 우리는 성모님도 흠숭할 수 있나요?
그럴 수 없습니다. 오로지 하느님만이 흠숭의 대상이십니다. 하지만 우리는 성모님을 우리 주님의 어머니로 공경합니다. 971 ‘흠숭’이라는 말은, 모든 피조물을 뛰어넘는 하느님의 절대적인 숭고함을 겸손하게, 아무 조건 없이 인정하다는 뜻입니다. 성모님은 우리와 같은 피조물로서, 우리는 신앙 안에서 성모님을 우리와 같은 피조물로서, 우리는 신앙 안에서 성모님을 우리의 어머니로 모십니다. 우리는 부모님을 공경해야 합니다. 이는 성경에도 잘 표현되어 있는데, 성모님은 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “이제부터 과연 모든 세대가 나를 행복하다 하리니”(루카 1,48) 이렇게 해서 교회는 성모님과 관련된 순례자와 축일, 성가, 묵주 기도와 같은 기도를 갖게 되었습니다. 묵주 기도는 복음을 요약해 놓은 것이라 할 수 있습니다. 149 May we worship Mary? No. Only God can be worshipped. But we can revere Mary as the Mother of our Lord. 971 By worship we mean the humble, unconditional acknowledgment of the absolute superiority of God over all creatures. Mary is a creature like us. In faith she is our Mother. And we should honor our parents. There is a biblical basis for this, since Mary herself says, “For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed” (Lk 1:48b). So the Church has Marian shrines and places of pilgrimage, feast days, hymns, and prayers, for instance, the →ROSARY. It is a compendium of the Gospels. 죄의 용서를 믿나이다. 150 교회는 실제로 죄를 용서할 수 있나요? 그렇습니다. 예수님은 몸소 죄를 용서하셨을 뿐만 아니라, 사람들을 죄로부터 해방할 사명과 권한을 교회에 맡기셨습니다. 사제의 직무 수행을 통해 인간은 하느님의 용서를 받게 되며, 죄는 마치 원래 없었던 것처럼 완전히 소멸합니다. 예수님이 죄를 용서하는 당신의 고유한 신적인 권한에 사제를 참여시키셨기 때문에, 사제는 오로지 그것에 근거해서만 죄를 용서할 수 있습니다. “I Believe in . . . the Forgiveness of Sins” 150 Can the Church really forgive sins? Yes. Jesus not only forgave sins himself, he also conferred on the →CHURCH the mission and the power to free men from their sins. 981-983, 986-987 Through the ministry of the → PRIEST, the penitent receives God’s forgiveness, and his guilt is wiped away as completely as if it had never existed. A priest can do this only because Jesus allows him to participate in his own divine power to forgive sins. |
