| 188 시간 전례란 무엇인가요?
‘시간 전례’는 교회 공동체가 다 같이 바치는 공적 기도입니다. 성경 본문들로 구성된 기도문을 통해 기도하는 사람은 예수 그리스도의 일생에 관한 신비로 점점 더 깊이 이끌립니다. 전 세계에서 날마다 특정한 시간에 바치는 시간 전례로, 삼위일체 하느님에게는 기도하는 사람과 세상을 아주 천천히 변화시킬 기회가 생깁니다. 사제와 수도자만 시간 전례를 바치는 것은 아닙니다. 신앙을 중요하게 여기는 수많은 그리스도교 신자들이 세상 곳곳에서 하느님에게 올라가는 수천 번의 외침에 동참하고 있습니다. 1174-1178, 1196 하루 동안 일곱 번 있는 ‘기도 시간’에 바치는 시간 전례에는 교회가 기도에 사용하는 모든 어휘가 담겨 있습니다. 기쁨, 걱정, 두려움으로 말문이 막힐 때 그 어휘 덕분에 말문이 열립니다. 시간 전례를 바칠 때 우리는 끊임없이 놀랍니다. 문장 하나 또는 본문 전체가 ‘우연히’도 나의 상황에 딱 맞아떨어지기 때문입니다. 하느님은 당신께 간청하는 우리의 기도를 들으시고, 시간 전례의 기도문을 통해 때때로 깜짝 놀랄 만큼 아주 구체적으로 우리에게 응답해 주십니다. 또한 우리의 충직함을 기대하시면서, 우리에게 무미 건조하고 긴 침묵의 시간을 요구하기도 하십니다. 188 What is the Liturgy of the Hours? The Liturgy of the Hours is the universal, public prayer of the →CHURCH. Biblical readings lead the person who prays it ever deeper into the mystery of the life of Jesus Christ.
