| 106 예수님이 부활하셨다는 증거가 있나요?
예수님의 부활을 자연 과학적으로 입증하는 증거는 존재하지 않습니다. 그러나 많은 동시대인들이 예루살렘에서 있었던 부활 사건을 개인적으로 또는 집단적으로 매우 분명하게 증언하고 있습니다. 639-644, 647, 656-657 부활에 관한 가장 오래된 문헌상의 증거는, 그리스도가 돌아가신 지 20년쯤 지났을 무렵 바오로 사도가 코린토의 신자들에게 보냈던 편지에 나와 있습니다. “나도 전해 받았고 여러분에게 무엇보다 먼저 전해 준 복음은 이렇습니다. 곧 그리스도께서 성경 말씀대로 우리의 죄 때문에 돌아가시고 묻히셨으며, 성경 말씀대로 사흗날에 되살아나시어, 케파에게, 또 이어서 열두 사도에게 나타나셨습니다. 그다음에는 한 번에 오백명이 넘는 형제들에게 나타나셨는데, 그 가운데 더러는 이미 세상을 떠났지만 대부분은 아직도 살아 있습니다.”(1코린 15,3-6) 이 편지에서 바오로 사도는 예수님이 돌아가시고 부활하신 지 이삼 년이 지났을 무렵, 부활하신 주님과의 충격적인 만남을 통해 스스로 그리스도교로 개종 사실을 말하고 있습니다. 그리고 기 이후 예루살렘의 초대 그리스도교 공동체에서 그가 발견한 생생한 전승을 언급하고 있습니다. 제자들은 빈 무덤이 예수님 부활의 실재를 가리킨다고 생각했습니다(루카 24,5-6 참조). 가장 먼저 예수님의 무덤이 비어 있는 것을 발견한 사람은 여자들이었는데, 당시 법에 따르면 여자들의 증언은 효력이 없었습니다. 성경은 빈 무덤을 보았던 요한 사도에 관해 그가 “보고 믿었다.”(요한 20,8)라고 전하지만, 예수님이 살아 계신다는 확신은 그분이 여러 차례 나타나신 이후에야 비로소 굳어졌습니다. 부활하신 그리스도와의 무수한 만남은 그분의 승천으로 마무리되었습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 살아 계신 주님과의 만남은 그 이후에도 있었고 오늘날까지도 계속됩니다. 이처럼 예수 그리스도는 살아 계십니다. 106 Are there proofs for the Resurrection of Jesus? There are no proofs for the Resurrection of Jesus in the scientific sense. There are, however, very strong individual and collective testimonies by a large number of contemporaries of those events in Jerusalem. 639-644, 647, 656-657 The oldest written testimony to the Resurrection is a letter that St. Paul wrote to the Corinthians around twenty years after Christ’s death: “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep” (1 Cor 15:3-6). Paul is recording here a living tradition that was present in the original Christian community two or three years after Jesus’ death and Resurrection, when he himself became a Christian?on the basis of his own staggering encounter with the risen Lord. The disciples took the fact of the empty tomb (Lk 24:2-3) as the first indication of the reality of the Resurrection. Women, of all people, discovered it?according to the law of that time they were not able to testify. Although we read about the →APOSTLE John that he “saw and believed” (Jn 20:8b) already at the empty tomb, full assurance that Jesus was alive came about only after a series of appearances. The many encounters with the risen Lord ended with Christ’s Ascension into heaven. Nevertheless, there were afterward and there are even today encounters with the living Lord: Jesus Christ lives. 107 부활을 통해 예수님은 현세에서 지녔던 신체적 상태로 되돌아가셨나요? 부활하신 주님은 제자들이 당신을 만지도록 허락하셨고, 그들과 함께 식사도 하셨으며, 당신이 겪은 고난의 상처들도 그들에게 보여 주셨습니다. 제자들이 그분의 육신을 만질 수 있었음에도 불구하고 그분의 육신은 더 이상 현세에만 속한 것이 아니라, 성부의 신성한 영역에 속한 것이기도 했습니다. 645-646 십자가에 못 박히셨던 상처들을 지닌 부활하신 그리스도는 더 이상 시간과 공간에 얽매이신 분이 아닙니다. 그분은 잠긴 문도 뚫고 들어오시고, 서로 다른 지역에 있던 당신 제자들에게 금방 알아볼 수 없는 모습으로 나타나기도 하셨습니다. 다시 말해 그분의 부활은 평범한 현세적 삶으로 귀환하신 것이 아니라, 새로운 존재 방식으로 진입하신 것을 의미합니다. “우리는 그리스도께서 죽은 이들 가운데에서 되살아나시어 다시는 돌아가시지 않으리라는 것을 압니다. 죽음은 더 이상 그분 위에 군림하지 못합니다.”(로마 6,9) 107 Through his Resurrection, did Jesus return to the physical, corporeal state that he had during his earthly life? The risen Lord allowed his disciples to touch him he ate with them and showed them the wounds of his Passion. Nevertheless, his body belonged no longer only to this earth, but rather to the heavenly kingdom of his Father. 645-646 The risen Christ, who bore the wounds of the Crucified, was no longer bound by space and time. He could enter through locked doors and appear to his disciples in various places in a form in which they did not recognize him immediately. Christ’s Resurrection was, therefore, not a return to a normal earthly life, but rather his entrance into a new way of being: “For we know that Christ being raised from the dead will never die again death no longer has dominion over him” (Rom 6:9). |
